The 3rd edition of Pakistan Super League had been in its full swing with teams’ eagerness to become the winner of PSL 2018. Multan Sultans is the most expensive franchise from all the six teams of Pakistan Super League. Wasim Akram has been part of the team as Director of Cricket Operations while former Australian cricketer, Tom Moody, is the Head Coach of Multan Sultans.

MR. NADEEM OMAR
Quetta Gladiators
Quetta Gladiators is owned by Mr. Nadeem Omar, who is a renowned sports promoter and CEO of Omar Associates. He manages one of the leading business groups in Pakistan, Omar Group of Companies (OGC). He won the rights of Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) Quetta franchise for a 10-year period at $1.1m per year, the lowest in PSL. Pakistani skipper Sarfraz Ahmed is the captain while former Pakistani wicket keeper Moin Khan is the coach of QGs. West Indian Legend Sir Isaac Vivian Alexander Richards is the team's mentor and batting coach as well. Renowned all-rounder, Abdul Razzaq is also part of the team as an Assistant coach.

MR. JAVED AFRIDI
Peshawar Zalmi
Peshawar Zalmi is owned by Javed Afridi. Initially, Shahid Afridi was the captain of the team. Later Darren Sammy took over the charge in the 2017 season of Pakistan Super League. Javed Afridi's franchise Peshawar Zalmi won the second edition of Pakistan Super League and was praised by the whole country in convincing foreign players to join Pakistan for the final match of PSL 2017. Javed Afridi has invested about 20 Million USD in cricket and his franchise for the betterment of cricket infrastructure of KPK. The Peshawar Zalmi franchise was sold to Haier Pakistan for US$16 million for a time period of ten-years. Javed Afridi’s estimated wealth is worth $75 Million.

MR. ALI NAQVI
Islamabad United
Islamabad United is the inaugural champion of the Pakistan Super League. The franchise is owned by Leonine Global Investments through its sports entity “Leonine Global Sports” owned by Amna Naqvi and Ali Naqvi. Ali Naqvi is an International businessman who owns Leonine Global, a parent branch of Leonine Global Sports. Ali Naqvi partnered with his wife Amna Naqvi owns the business and the defending champions of the inaugural season of Pakistan Super League, Islamabad United. The franchise was bought for around $15 Million from PCB, the lowest price of any PSL franchise. The Karachi Kings is the biggest and most popular team in the PSL. More than being just a cricketing team, the Karachi Kings franchise aims to invest in cricket in Pakistan, developing and nurturing local talent to be confident and able to perform on an international level. Salman Iqbal owns Karachi Kings. He is one of Pakistan's most successful entrepreneurs; he founded a media group ARY Digital under the name of his uncle’s most successful business empire ARY Group. ARY Media Group is the main sponsor of Karachi Kings for the 2017 season of PSL. ARY Group bought Karachi Kings as a result of auctions in 2015 for $26 million and 10 years of contract, Kings were the most expensive franchise of the inaugural PSL in 2016. MR. FAWAD RANA
Lahore Qalandars
Fawad Rana is the MD of QALCO (Qatar Oil Company Ltd.) He is among the famous businessmen in Pakistan and Qatar. Rana was the first one to step forward to announce a team for Pakistan Super League. His team was the first one to agree to play the final match in Lahore. So we can say that he played a vital role in making PSL a successful brand. After announcing the team, he paid well for bidding of foreign players and local players as well. Fawad is working nowadays with new and young players to show their talent. Fawad Rana carried out a large-scale talent hunt program in Punjab and organized a talent hunt tournament, associated with the Australian Cricket Franchise Sydney Thunders.
