Italy To Reopen Trade Office In Karachi

Italy has decided to reopen its trade commission in Pakistan. The commission is scheduled to start work in early January 2016. Agriculture machinery, agro-processing, livestock and dairy, processed food industry, transport, furniture making, marble industry, textile, leather and energy sectors as areas of interest for prospective Italian investors. The Pakistan-Italy bilateral trade volume is currently around $1.5 billion.
